Carlisle 10k incorporating the Stephen Unwin memorial trophy

The race will start in Bitts Park and follow a route to Eden Bridges, Rickerby Park, Linstock, Brampton Road and then finishing on the 400 metre track at the Sheepmount Stadium. If you need more information on the course check out the route that has been plotted here on MapMyRun.

We are trying to grow numbers for this event in order to make it an annual Carlisle road race.

The race will be affiliated to UK Athletics and run under UK Athletics rules.

It is the perfect warm up event for those who are in training for a 10 mile or half marathon event in the Autumn. The event is suitable for fun and club runners alike with water stations and mile markers on route.

All finishers will receive goody Bags and t-shirts.

The cost to enter is £15.50 or £13.50 if you are affiliated to UK Athletics via your running club. Pre registration is preferred but runners can also enter on the day. Note it will cost £2.00 more for on the day entry.
